In this paper, the relationship between the physical structure of carbon nanotube (CNT) honeycomb structures and their total, diffuse, and specular reflectance is investigated for the first time. It is found that CNT honeycomb structures with average cell areas of smaller than 30 μm2 show a higher total reflectance. Interestingly, this study found that the main component of total reflectance from CNT honeycomb structures is diffuse reflectance. In future work, it is expected that a higher total reflectance will be obtained for larger surface areas, which will contribute to the achievement of efficient absorption of light into quantum dots to improve the efficiency of QD solar cells utilizing CNT electrodes.
